The Queen's Wand: A Journaling Journey Through the Tarot
A virtual class with Melissa Jean, held every Thursday in June 2026
[June 4, 11, 18, and 25]
7:00-8:30 pm Central time
Week 1 : The Fool’s Journey—in which we begin to perceive the path
Week 2: The Hanged Man—in which we look from a different perspective
Week 3: The 3 of Cups—in which we create in community
Week 4: The World—in which we come to the end, then start over again
This all-levels class may be for you if:
You have been curious about learning to read and understand Tarot cards
You already have experience with the Tarot but want to deepen your connection and discover new approaches to storytelling
You want to find a way to create journaling routines that are imbued with a spirit of play, spontaneity, and authenticity
You have felt plagued by writer’s block and sense that Tarot could be a cure
You have been feeling disconnected or numb, and want to do creative storytelling practices in a supportive community
All levels of experience with both the Tarot and writing are welcome!
This course includes:
4 live Zoom sessions, from 7:00-8:30 pm CST every Thursday night in June
A free digital download of my original Tarot Morning Practices deck
A weekly email with tips and tricks for your solo practice between the live sessions, plus some fun extra reading suggestions and playlists
Absolutely zero AI-generated content; absolutely everything comes straight from my brain, practice, and decades of experience as a Tarot practitioner and creative writing teacher
Note: Week 3 will be a hybrid class, with the option to gather physically with class participants who live near you OR invite a friend to join you in that week’s creative activity (for free!) I will be convening a group in Salt Lake City that day, so if you live in that area, you can attend in person.
If you have questions or are trying to decide if this class is right for you, please email Melissa at breatheoutsidenashville@gmail.com.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel 3 weeks before start date there is a 10% cancellation fee; less than 1 week before start date there is a 25% cancellation fee; if you cancel 48 hours or less before class start, no refund is available, but you are welcome to transfer your registration to someone else.
