Contemplative Nature Pedagogy in the Virtual University Classroom

This virtual presentation will discuss strategies for bringing contemplative nature-based practices into online classroom environments. On a personal level, these practices can contribute to the well-being, creativity, and sense of connectedness in students. Pedagogically, contemplative nature pedagogy can broaden our analysis in almost any discipline, deepening the scope of our theory. And in a political sense, making these links between technology, education, and the more-than-human world is a crucial piece of training environmentally-responsible global citizens.
